Whats the return policy on Montas again? 7 days or 14? No right of recision policy, I’m afraid… And to think, we were slobbering over this guy since last winter. Pitching in Oakland makes a lot of guys look good, doesn’t it? 73% of all pop ups are foul balls in play there…

How come we knew it but Cashman didn't?

DeLong is hitting .141 and Molina .207 and Montas walked both of them to start that second inning.

Just the way things are going, pitching does well and offense cant get a hit, offense getting runs and pitching shits the bed. Gotta fight through it.

DeLong is hitting .141 and Molina .207 and Montas walked both of them to start that second inning. Was telling my buddy, college sports give you a perspective of inconsistency, which at the end of the day you understand. In pro sports though, pretty unacceptable to see things like what we are seeing the last 30 games. I don't wanna get on Montas too much, he's had a lot going on with a death in his family, hasn't pitched in 11 days after coming off the IL in July, but how are you walking De Jong and Molina after your offense gives you a 4-1 lead. It's just stuff like that that is perplexing for professional sports. You are a pro for a reason, you should be able to ride the momentum your team just gave you. Under Boone since he was hired, there has been way too much volatility, a lot of really good, but if not really good, then it's really, really bad. Nothing in-between. Right now, they're really bad.

If you can't get a has been like Molina out, you're not going to win.

Great post, Maize. As for the under Boone, I keep thinking of the bad base running. It keeps going on and on.

OK, it's only 6-4. It's still a game.
