Here is the line-up for the Red Sox:
1. Tommy Pham (R) LF 2. Rafael Devers (L) 3B 3. Xander Bogaerts (R) SS 4. Alex Verdugo (L) RF 5. J.D. Martinez (R) DH 6. Eric Hosmer (L) 1B 7. Christian Arroyo (R) 2B 8. Jarren Duran (L) CF 9. Reese McGuire (L) C
Aaron Boone still poring over his rest calendar and trying to configure a line-up that is balanced with those players he needs to get going offensively, leading to the second or third best starting nine. With Stanton and Carpenter out, one would expect the job to be easier.
Today, we may receive a glimpse of what we can expect the rest of the season from Frankie Montas, as he could be the second coming (third for those hair-splitters like me) of Javier Vazquez. The second best or worst scenario would be a Sonny Gray legacy, in which one pitches better on the road and stinks at Yankee Stadium. Of course, with Montas' splits, he was much more effective in the cavernous Oakland Coliseum where the expansive foul ground is a pitcher's best friend.

I am going out for dinner with a friend to this local American/Italian place. Looking forward to some nice Veal Francese. I'll be back before the end of the game.

We make a special rule when he’s pitching that says that any time a fan catches a foul ball, the batter is out. It makes play on the road and at home much fairer for him…

Judge walks with one out, but Rizzo hits into a double play. To be honest, Judge got a ball that should have been strike three. Something that does not happen to him very often.

Strikeout-throw out double play. Why is Boone calling this? Benintendi had to swing at a high pitch that would have been ball four. Torres was out by a couple feet.
