I wonder if Cashman goes to these games? I assume he does, and if so, why don't the YES cameras ever show him? I'd love to see the look on his face watching this team he assembled play so poorly.

It's run like a mom and pop shop, they are all too comfortable with each other. You don't have to be George Steinbrenner and so over-reactionary, but Hal and Cash have become almost even worse, they're apathetic to getting embarrassed every postseason. They can't admit mistakes, they wait too long to move on from players who have shown consistent regression, they refuse to promote prospects to inject youth and athleticism, and they ignore the free agent market other than bargain shopping. It's an extremely stale product. |
