These trolls on social media and sports radio are ridicolous this team looks bad likely, but anyone saying they are going to not make the playoffs when there is now an extra spot and they have a lead of 10.5 games over Baltimore and would need 4 teams to pass them who have all played pretty medicore the last couple weeks outside of Baltimore.

This is the current Yankees with options.. IKF 3 Effross 3 Torres 2 Trivino 2 Cortes 2 Peralta 1 German 1 Andujar 1 Locastro 1 So this is kind of interesting I didn't know Andujar and Locastro were down to their last option so if you send them down next to you bring them up you can't send them down against without putting them through waivers. Aren't those options years left?

Options don't work like that. They work on a yearly basis with a new cap of 5. Read the link I posted.

Oh I see what you are saying now Kaybli so basically any of those guys I mentioned could all be optioned if they haven't been optioned 5 times already this season. Well Locastro has been optioned 3 times I think of 5?
June 4 July 23 July 28 (since April doesn't count) so yea I guess he still has two more.

Looks like the Astros are going to blow one to the White Sox which will keep the best record at 2.5 and not 3.5

Sort of a hidden blessing how things are going. Our offense isn't scoring much but even with the losses, for the most part our starting pitching is pitching great. Plenty of season left so the hidden blessing is giving guys like Florial a chance to make a mark. I forget, but didn't we end last season badly? I'd rather have a "bad" streak like now but have September to correct it, as we are talented.

Yea they got too complacent when they had like a 4-5 game lead on the first WC and started resting people and lost the first WC on the last day and had to wind up playing in fenway.
