Yankees have lost 5 straight series first time that has happened since 2005.
Best record Houston would go 3.5 up if they win tonight.
Toronto lost again so that puts them .5 up on Baltimore the Rays now have sole possession of 2nd.
So we have this:
NYY 72-45
TB 62-53 9 GB
Toronto 61-54 10 GB
Baltimore 61-55 10.5 GB
Boston 58-59 14 GB
So a win tomorrow the Yankees keep their 10 game lead. Toronto could be in 4th place tomorrow.

Just remember guys, nothing is decided in August. If we turn it around, no one will remember this poor stretch. We have a lot of talent when this team is healthy. Let's not lose hope. I think the lineup construction is a huge problem. They need to just kick guys off the team that aren't performing, but they keep using this safety net because they would say well on July 16 we had a 13 game lead we only lost 4 games in a month etc. Andujar is a AAAA player for sure. He isn't helping this team give someone else a chance like Florial. Bring up Marciano & Schmidt and get rid of one of these relievers that can't be consistent even if you have to DFA. Why is David Cone not like connected to this team more? They need to make him an advisor or something. He was taking about these AAA players in the broadcast even. |

He just said a pitching move that we may announce here in a little bit. Maybe one of the relievers are injured and Schmidt and/or Marinaco is back. |

So this is kind of interesting I didn't know Andujar and Locastro were down to their last option so if you send them down next to you bring them up you can't send them down against without putting them through waivers.
