Well I haven't been there in at least 30 years, so I am sure it has changed enormously. Back then it was a depressed, boarded-up, deserted beach town. Good Springsteen material. There certainly wasn't any place that looked like Brando's. But I saw how Jersey City and Hoboken revived, and I assume Asbury Park has done likewise. Look forward to your report. We're heading off to Litchfield CT for about a week on Saturday. One of our favorite New England villages. But not much baseball history in the area. |
