Oh man. 3-0 is an enormous deficit for this team.

If the Yankees lose this game they are only seven up in the loss column. That is hardly a secure lead with seven weeks left in the season.

You deserve a respite, Kaybli! What the name of the restaurant? Brando's:
Oh my, oh my. Okay, you'll may have to help me, I'm ordering the calamari, the eggplant tower, the polenta and mushrooms, the insalate Calabrese, and the Pappardelle Toscana. And, the Italian cheesecake to go.

What was it like when you visited? Well I haven't been there in at least 30 years, so I am sure it has changed enormously. Back then it was a depressed, boarded-up, deserted beach town. Good Springsteen material. There certainly wasn't any place that looked like Brando's. But I saw how Jersey City and Hoboken revived, and I assume Asbury Park has done likewise. Look forward to your report. We're heading off to Litchfield CT for about a week on Saturday. One of our favorite New England villages. But not much baseball history in the area. I have to visit CT one of these days. Just for the pizza joints alone!

The guy Cashman picked over Montgomery can't make it through the 5th inning.

My friend who lives in Asbury Park says you have to order steak from the special 35 day dry aged steak menu, the stuffed veal chop, and their signature pistachio caramel ice cream cake!

Just for the pizza joints alone! Yeah, the best pizza joints in CT are in the older gritty towns like New Haven and Bridgeport. Litchfield is more like a 1940s Christmas movie village. Probably some good frou frou pizza though.

I almost went with the stuffed veal, but I must have pasta at an Italian place in New Jersey. I might order it anyway, if the appetizers are small. If not, I'll have to go back for lunch the next day!
