Kluber pitched roughly 2 months for the Yankees but with the Rays of course that doesn't happen.

Remember last season when we paid Kluber more than the Rays are paying him this season.

For sure, the Yankees can't afford to get clocked by Toronto. If they do, this will be the worst choke of a season since the 2004 playoffs of my era. Considering the Yanks had a 15.5 game lead at one time, it could qualify as the greatest choke in baseball history. But I'm not ready to go there yet. This team can't possibly continue to play like this for the rest of the year.

I almost went with the stuffed veal, but I must have pasta at an Italian place in New Jersey. I might order it anyway, if the appetizers are small. If not, I'll have to go back for lunch the next day! What have you been eating these days? Anything interesting? Too busy working. Tonight, I had a small steak, drippings over a small bed of rice, hummus and carrots, and some pistachios and a mandarin orange.

Yeah, the best pizza joints in CT are in the older gritty towns like New Haven and Bridgeport. Litchfield is more like a 1940s Christmas movie village. Probably some good frou frou pizza though. I know you'll have a good time like you always do! We'll miss you on the boards though. Still in Yankee country. I'll check in when I can.

The biggest thing in the Yankees favor is most of these teams behind them don't have too many head to heads left with them since they played so many early. If the Yankees do as little as split vs Toronto they only have 3 games left. Baltimore only has 3 left. Their biggest competition with head to heads is the rays who they have 6 left with after this.
