How can there even be a debate for the AL MVP right now? The always underrated Ramirez and Alvarez are the only two worth considering.

Hicks body language and facial expression make him look like someone who should be on suicide watch protection. I’m not joking around. He appears horribly depressed.
Imagine spending most of your career injured, but having a few healthy months here and there when you flash your best ability. Then you find yourself healthy and find out that you’re just really not all that good…

For anyone worried about the division, the rest of the Rays' schedule looks absolutely brutal:
24 games against the Yankees, Astros, Blue Jays, and Guardians. They also end the season in Boston for 3 more games.
All this with just one rest day in their the last month of the season (Sept 26th), including a doubleheader vs Toronto.
According to Tankathon that's the 2nd hardest in MLB.

If they can get through that rays series next week and be about 10 up (8.5 now) they would up 10 with 28 to go which is a pretty good cushion. I can see them gaining at least the 1.5 in a week the as are bad and even with the bad angel stadium history gotta think they can win at least 2 there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
