Another day, another different lineup:
There's no consistency at all with these lineups except Judge in the 2 spot. Which I feel is a travesty. # 3… that’s his spot… #4 woukd work, too… |

They are the weirdest team they look like world beaters for half a year every year but always do enough to miss the playoffs since 2016 their only playoff appearance was 2020 and that's only cause they expanded the playoffs to 8 teams each side and they were 8th best. I must admit I thought Toronto was really ready for a big step forward this year. So far at least they have under-achieved. They are the weirdest team they look like world beaters for half a year every year but always do enough to miss the playoffs since 2016 their only playoff appearance was 2020 and that's only cause they expanded the playoffs to 8 teams each side and they were 8th best. It's difficult to lose the Cy Young Award winner in Robbie Ray and a second baseman that hit 45 home runs and 102 RBI in Marcus Semien, plus Vlad, Jr. had 167 OPS+ last season, and still didn't win the MVP. Those are career years that are tough to reproduce, much less exceed with replacements. |
