Okay, the first guy I checked was Womack, and even he was better with a 72 OPS+ in 12 years. But the second guy I checked, former Phillies and Expos SS Bobby Wine, actually registered a 55 in 12 seasons. So they're out there.

I had to look up one more guy, Mark Belanger, another weak-hitting (but brilliant defensive) SS. In 18 seasons principally with Baltimore, he squeezed by Hamilton with a 68 OPS+.
