As a manager, what would YOU do with Stanton and the Playoffs? Let him ride the bench then PH if you're up big? You can't have a guy that is an auto KO in the post season. You just can't, no matter what he's done in the past. If Beni, DJ, or Carpenter were available ... do you let Stanton miss the first series? Stanton has a history of mashing in the playoffs. 1.108 OPS. You just have to play him and hope for the best. If Carpenter was healthy, I'd play him at DH but it would take a miracle for him to be ready by then. |

Thankfully the Yankees aren't in the NL Central, since the Cubs are only team the Yankees can beat in that division.
