Latest: Benintendi will take his first dry swings Saturday. He has been recovering from breaking his right hamate bone. He seems unlikely to return before the AL Championship Series.

I wonder -- if Stanton shows no improvement for the rest of the season, might the Yankees discover an "injury" and leave him off the post-season roster? It's unlikely just because he's Giancarlo Stanton. But he looks completely lost right now. |
