Hicks in September - .264/.316/.453 Maybe Hicks should be the DH?  |

Nice to see the reassuring presence of the Bronx County Courthouse, the Ballantine scoreboard ("a Ballentine blast" as Mel Allen called home runs hit over there) and especially the view of the monuments as part of the playing field, out by the 461 feet sign. I remember Frank Howard of the Dodgers hitting a ball that rattled among those monuments in the 1963 World Series. What a poke, but still not a home run. |
