Terry Francona looks an awful lot like his father Tito, who as Costas noted was a pretty fair hitter in his day.
Tito was from Aliquippa PA, a depressed old steel town in Western PA.
Some other athletes from Aliquippa are Tony Dorsett, Mike Ditka, Pete Maravich, Ty Law, Derrell Revis, Paul Posluszny, and Doc Medich. Pretty good for a town that at its long-ago peak never had as many as 30,000 people.
