Thanks Rizz. I'm surprised the night game tradition goes back to at least the 1940s. I can't even picture a day game at LSU. Fans hate day games at LSU, and so do I. It's usually too damn hot during the day for football in Baton Rouge anyway. The record of LSU is far superior at night, too. I went to one day game when I was at LSU, and we lost to Kentucky. Just not the same atmosphere. Night games at LSU have electricity in the air.

Bader has the right idea against Valdez - hunt for fastballs. Someone needs to have a team approach to this guy. Too many swinging at that yacker out of the zone. Make him throw three curve balls in the zone and lay in wait for the fastball and turn on it.

Of course when I was there there were no lights, so it wasn't an issue. Of course most of the students were drunk anyway so it didn't much matter. Big Ten works better in the afternoon.

Whatever is Boone's decision regarding the pen, the Yankees should do the opposite.

Whatever is Boone's decision regarding the pen, the Yankees should do the opposite. The Costanza method.
