Smart Move on Houston's part...if they make a few more moves = might be on their way to repeat???
A HOF for sure!!! Great Player...
If they kept track of the runs he gave back on defense, of which there were MANY he would still get in on his gaudy offense. Not a player I ever pined for the Yankees to get, but he made a great Tiger…

There's some action. Unfortunate action though. Abreu will be 36. His HR production suddenly dropped from 30’s to 15 last season. He’s a very free-swinger. He may not last long… Actually Abreu had more hits and doubles then his previous seasons. His OBP was solid and his strikeouts were down. He's still dangerous and nice upgrade for the Houston.

Not sure where this leaves Trey Mancini, who they picked up before the trade deadline.

The Astros declined a 10 million dollar option on Mancini. He is now a free agent.

Why does idiot Steve Phillips have Torres as a SS.

Why does idiot Steve Phillips have Torres as a SS. Right, that's a silly mistake for anyone covering baseball. Gleyber's SS days should be over.

It looked like he was making some concessions to age. If he can maintain last year’s .350 BABIP, he’ll keep rolling. His career BABIP is .327, so perhaps he can…

Nice article on Senga. Hope we get him. Thanks A-man! I was always good at that game. No, no. That's Jenga. Nevermind. Saw a few 98 MPH fastballs there. Pretty straight, but if he can paint the edges, that will work. Interesting possibility. Certainly would put some spice in the offseason mix.

But why not? … Maybe he has a secret pitch, “The Physics Denying Rising Faller”…
