Also if they traded Donaldson, Hicks Torres, etc. for some Prospects = Make room on the 40-Man Roster. OR as Tequila like to say 40 Man Roosters |

That is true. But you can’t expect any team to fork over anyone decent for Hicks or Donaldson. That’s like pulling the fuzz out of the bottom of your pockets to pay for a tank of gas. The best you can hope for is to get back something similar to what they are. Players signed to bad contracts. We’d be better off just to release them and not get stuck with the return they’d bring… |
