Congrats to Judge! 28 of the 30 first place votes, I thought it would be closer sine so many out there are all about Othani. Give credit to the voters for getting it right.

Congrats to the big man from Los Angeles! Now let’s keep him! I’ve decided not to congratulate Judge until he signs with the Yankees. It’s tough love time. I hope he doesn’t inundate my phone with texts.

Congrats to the big man from Los Angeles! Now let’s keep him! Just a small point of order here Kaybli. Judge grew up in Linden CA, which is near Stockton in the San Joaquin Valley of Northern California. There's a good chance any vegetables you eat come from there. Most of the asparagus grown in the US is from within a few miles of where Judge grew up. I am beginning to think the Yanks will keep him because of the pressure on Hal that he seems to have noticed. This was a no-brainer vote. But I will bet that if Judge had hit 60 HRs instead of 62, and if all his other numbers were the same, the vote would have gone to Ohtani. They don't like giving the MVP to a Yankee; since Mattingly won it in 1985, only A-Rod's two MVPs have gone to a Yankee. Judge is the first Yankee OFer to win it since Mantle in 1962. Pretty amazing considering that period includes Reggie Jackson, Dave Winfield, Bernie Williams and Paul O'Neill.

By the way, I believe Kaybli threw you a syntactical curveball. Kay is currently visiting his brother who recently moved to Los Angeles. So, those were congratulations to the big man from Kaybli, sending a post from Los Angeles.
