Pipps, if you want to try another cross-state trek someday, head for Hancock, MD. MD’s narrowest N/S waist is 1 mile from the WV line to the PA line at that point, from the Potomac river to the good old Mason-Dixon Line… Three states in 15 minutes just strolling along. I like that. Then there is Four Corners, where you can do pushups in four states simultaneously. It was weird going to four corners and seeing people get down on all fours for a photo op, most of them old enough to know they weren’t going to be able to get up by themselves. A further note, don’t fall for that “skinny” N/S panhandle in Oklahoma. That darn thing is 34 miles…

No joke here, Kaybli. There is a real restaurant at the Pueblo Airport called Peter’s In and Out… I haven’t researched the menu… Welcome back Kaybli. It's worth the trip for In'N'Out alone. I don't usually buy into food cults -- Krispy Kreme, Dunkin' Donuts, etc -- but I am a True Beliver for In'N'Out. Love the Getty. The views and architecture by themselves are enough. And we spent many happy times in Griffith Park. Home of the Bat Cave and the "secret" trail to the Hollywood sign. Glad you got so much done. I hope downtown LA isn't as deteriorated as most reports suggest. Thanks pipps! Good to be back. Downtown LA is a little worn down but not terrible from what I saw.

The hiking trip in Shenandoah National Park sounds exciting pipps! And good for you for participating in the Hike Across Delaware for a good cause. 16 miles is no joke. Always an adventurous spirit!
Just arrived back at home after a visit to Los Angeles to see my brother. It was a wonderful time. Went to Universal Studios, The Getty Museum, The Griffith Observatory and Hollywood. Ate at In N-Out, a nice Italian Resturaunt, An udon noodles place in Little Osaka, Korean BBQ, a Mexican joint, El Pollo Loco Chicken, Sidecar Donuts, and Ice cream every day! Must have gained like 10 pounds on this little trip alone, scared to step on the scale! But happy that my brother is doing well and happy to be back home!
Now, what the hell is Judge doing in SF? I want to travel you kay. Food is usually my highlight when I'm on the road. I generally don't eat at chains, but In N-Out is worth it. Yea In N-Out was really good. Maybe a little better than Shake Shack though some of my friends swear by Shake Shack.

Though it is somewhat nice that they cut raw potatoes right in front of you, the spuds need to be soaked to remove the excess starch, fried once, removed then fried again. Instead, they taste like the cardboard container they come in. Did you get double-double, animal style? That is my go-to order.

I should amend, that is my go-to order if I am not eating in the car - then it's just a regular single. Too many ruined ties eating on the run. I do enjoy both burger versions.
