I enjoyed it immensely, but you must remember that I am a fan of the comics, so I will see almost anything that I read as a kid that is reimagined as a movie. Also, I like mindless escapism. Seeing Lord of the Rings on screen was also wonderful for what it was. Lord of the Rings is one of my favorites. Have you seen the new show on Amazon? It was okay. Not great but entertaining. Yes, it was enjoyable but, as you said, not great or on par with the original trilogy.

I'm on the last episode of Stranger Things Season 4 which is 2 hours 13 minutes long.
After I finish that monstrosity, its on to the Last of Us!

The Last of Us has me hooked. I'm going to have to watch until the end. I also enjoyed The Walking Dead for the first few seasons, until the episode with the baseball/barbed wire bat, that was the jumped the shark moment for me. Have you watched Jack Ryan on Amazon? I just finished the third season. All three have been really good.

Speaking of AMC shows, did you watch Breaking Bad? If you haven't seen it, its a must watch. Probably my third favorite show of all time after The Wire and The Sopranos.

I was never able to get past the first few episodes. They were enjoyable but I suppose it was the wrong time for me to watch a show in which the initial motivation was cancer and medical bills. My brother and my sister’s partner are fan boys/girls. Bryan Cranston was nearby the other day and she went to see him.

Understandable about it being the wrong time for Breaking Bad. The first couple seasons are good but it really shines in the later seasons especially season 4. If you don't want to watch that, I'd also recommend Stranger Things. I've gotten so attached to the characters and I just finished Season 4. Have to wait for Season 5 to come out now. Its a great show.

I'll always treasure playing those games with my daughter when she was little, usually just me and her. Now, she's in high school, with plenty of friends to hang out with, I don't spend as much time with her. Yup, they grow up fast don't they! Kind of sad. Don't worry, you'll always mean the world to her.
I saw a post you were tagged in pop up on my timeline in facebook. She was singing in a talent show or something? Pretty cool. What song did she sing?
Yeah, it was a talent show at her high school. It was the first time that she sang solo up on stage and she did great! She sang "Can't Blame a Girl for Trying" by Sabrina Carpenter.

That’s the same song Inger sang at a Denny’s in Pueblo, Colorado. It was his first time singing without a sombrero. Supposedly, it went very well because a couple people said something to the waiter about a Grand Slam.

I watched the first two seasons of Stranger Things and enjoyed it, especially the nostalgia of growing up at that time, when bicycles were transportation for kids. Unfortunately, I ditched Netflix when I was not gainfully employed. So, I have not seen the subsequent seasons.

The specific comment was something about the portion being small on the two eggs and a link sausage item. Have to get that sombrero back before my next nude live performance…

--Treason --Secret City
--The Recruit --Women of War --Kings of Jo' Burg (still watching)
