I have to say Kay that I've never played The Show or any video games since I was in high school. Maybe that's what I will do when I retire - become a gamer, buy a gigantic television, a gamer's chair, and be the old guy trouncing people 40 years my junior while verbally shredding them on line. Then, play golf in the morning. Didn't you get a PS5?

Martin's Game of Thrones' book series really brought back interest in Norse mythology and influenced a ton of spin-off series, movies, games, etc. Speaking of Ragnarok, I was a huge comic book fan as a kid. Thor was one of my favorites, along with Spider-Man, The Avengers, The Fantastic Four, The Incredible Hulk, and The X-Men. I was kind of tickled by the movie Thor: Ragnarok. Cate Blanchett was a wonderful villain and Anthony Hopkins as Odin: "Remind me again, are you the god of hammers?"

When I was in junior high school, my dad got me an Atari 2600. It was weird because, it did not come in a box. I am pretty sure someone must have given it to him second hand and he regifted it to me. There were only two games: Pong and Combat. It was really anti-climatic for me because you really needed someone else to play against, and I lived out in the sticks with no one around. Also, there were no places near by to purchase other games, so I was stuck with those two games only.

I enjoyed it immensely, but you must remember that I am a fan of the comics, so I will see almost anything that I read as a kid that is reimagined as a movie. Also, I like mindless escapism. Seeing Lord of the Rings on screen was also wonderful for what it was.

Now, she's in high school, with plenty of friends to hang out with, I don't spend as much time with her.

Don't worry, you'll always mean the world to her.
I saw a post you were tagged in pop up on my timeline in facebook. She was singing in a talent show or something? Pretty cool. What song did she sing?

Not great but entertaining.
