This could be Coleslaw's last inning. I don't see Boone letting him get to 100? I think he comes out for the sixth, but only to grab and out or two. Ten pitches max for the inning… Boonie’s Boonie. He’s probably thinking Volpe could use a break, too. He played a lot this spring, you know… 🤓 |

Did you miss me? No? You knew I was in the crowd somewhere, right? I watched the first three innings on my phone so Ruthie could watch her “story”. Nice start to be up 3-0. Can’t believe this is the first double figure strike out game for a Yanks opening day starter… That’s a factoid I did NOT know nor find before today… Always good to have Senor Inger on board! Did you bring the Sweet Baby Rays? |

I just learned today tgat Volpe’s mom is Filipino. I have to smile because the old neighbors from MD were a mix between a redneck and his Filipino wife. Their three teenage sons (at the time) called themselves Fil-Billies…😂
I also have heard so much about Volpe’s excellent make up. Yes. His skin appears very moist and smooth… 🤓

So its opening day and they don't have Volpe on the roster in MLB the show it has Higgy batting 9th at DH instead, with DJ at SS and Torres at 2B.
