Great! Just came back from a workout. Got those post workout endorphins! Better than I deserve for sure. Got in a nice hike early this morning and now rewarding myself with a gin and tonic as thunder rumbles outside. I know what the tonic is, but are you drinking Hendricks? |

I know what the tonic is, but are you drinking Hendricks? Actually having Tanqueray 10 today. I had a Hendricks Martini at my favorite local haunt yesterday and I don't want to get in a rut. Are you imbibing yet today? |

Love goofing off with a storm on the brew… When I was a kid, I loved the experience, smelling rain and ozone and feeling the energy and excitement just before an electrical storm. Dark blue and purple clouds. Wind picking up and blowing the humidity and heat away. My dog would get the zoomies, running all over the yard, then charging at me before just veering off to either side. Great memories. |

I’m with you brother. Been having low BP issues again. Short of breath, light headed when standing.., Uh oh. Talk to your doctor. Hope you feel better! New doctor. It’s getting better. He’s been helping me cut back gradually on my meds. There is one that gives you heart palpitations if you stop it suddenly. I think it’s on the right track. Less lightheadness and better breathing the past day or so… |

Are you imbibing yet today? I never have any booze in the house. Never even think about it when I shop. Very much a social drinker. When Sarah was alive, she purchased all the alcohol and kept a stocked liquor cabinet in case guests came over, or for get togethers in which I cooked or BBQ'd. Now, it's when I am out with people, and they order a drink - I'll always keep them company with an order of my own. |

Rough morning for me. It got really hot here this week and when I went for my morning run, I got sick to my stomach. I hate running in the heat. Ouch! Hope you're feeling better now. I need my stomach to settle down.  |

Loved it as a kid -- we would take a small portable TV out in a storm and pull in remote TV stations (for SE PA) from Corpus Christi and Shreveport and Jacksonville because of the disturbed atmosphere. Never electrocuted for some reason -- Ben Franklin was from Philly after all. Now I worry about losing power and the sump pump going off. |
