Nice series win after a tough start on Tuesday night. Great to see the late shift getting off work and starting to join us Chi. The most we had in the “booth here today at one time was three. Kaybli and I can’t decide who’s doing play by play or color, and Anthony is really good off camera down on the field, but we do need the help! <Hint: Some employers don’t mind someone leaving with a late afternoon headache on certain days. Some however, are smarter than that.>

The first inning and the later innings were good times. There was a gap inbetween of no runs. In those instances, I hit the ten-second button a few times between pitches. Looks like you, Inger, and Anthony carried the thread today. This work think is really putting a thorn in my Yankee side. Also, I was planning on getting a tax refund and coordinating with you to see a Yankee game. Alas, I owe 2400 dollars. Not sure how that happened. Yankees shall have to wait for awhile. That’s a bummer. Funny thing, I pay a CPA to do my taxes. So when the deadline is drawing nigh, I called their office and asked for the form to file late. Lady on the phone says “Are you going to have to pay, or do you expect a refund?” I tell her I expect a refund, but in my head I’m thinking… Mr. DiNardo will be figuring that out. I just assemble the info and hand it off to you folks. How in the hell do you think I’m going to know the answer today? Then on the 13th I hand them in. The lady informs that they will still be filed late because they are backed up. No surprise, and I have the completed form along with my taxes. She says: “Ard you going to owe money? Or do you expect a refund?” I silently slip a noose around my neck as I exit the office and head back to the car. I missed something somewhere along the way. I operate on a different level. Sorry you owe the IRS, buddy. I won’t know for a while, but I think I’m due a few hundred…

I love watching the YOUTH...honestly we should trade more of the Retreads and go with more YOUTH.
"FORM A BOX...hold, hold, hold the box; for our Prospects are our future!!! Hold, hold, hold the box..."
Where have I heard this before? … 🙈🙉🙊

I had to pay in this year too, mainly because the credits that I received during the pandemic were not extended for 2022.

I wish I only owed $6, lol. I got almost $900 back last year so quite the uh flip. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk My year was a strange one. I only made a little over $1,000 from my solar exploits. Illness shut me down for a bit, then gas got so outrageous that I didn’t feel I could operate profitably. That was the breaking point for me where I decided to switch my focus selling the house in Pueblo West and buying another at a lesser price. I cashed in my tiny retirement fund, and paid taxes on that when I did so. I never worked again from that point. Prepping the house, and then keeping it spotless for all of the showings was my primary purpose in life. I’m hoping some of the taxes I paid on the retirement cash out will counter-balance along with my interest on mortgage in Pueblo West to result in a positive result for me. I do t like to do my own taxes. It gets me too agitated, but I’m pretty decent following how it’s all done. I expect a few hundred back. We’ll see. It would be a great time for that to happen. Property taxes and my auto insurance come up in June, so it will all be spent…

That's a no from me. I would take Judge all day. Ohtani hasn't proved he can handle NY pressure plus the pitching thing only helps every 5-6 games and I feel like he's going to become solely just a hitter as he gets later in his career. Plus he doesn't play a position.

The USD is also a bit in trouble (but so are most currencies.) If you have extra money, some crypto would be great. The AI projects look good but are risky. Maybe just some ETH, depending on your risk profile. If that is too risky for you, with inflation what it is, I'd go gold and silver.

I bought a bunch of ETH back in 2018 at an average price around 200 dollars then sold it a little too early during the bull run of 2021 but still made a hefty profit. I rebought it around when it hit its lows this last year and now am waiting for the next bull run. ETHs been very good to me.

I found him to be quite likable until he cried about not getting “his” MVP last season. I hope the Yankees don’t even make him an offer when he becomes a free agent…

At this point I would never invest speculatively in real estate. My goal was to own my place outright to eliminate mortgage payments in retirement. I achieved that goal. I don’t know if I’ll ever have a nickel left over to invest again, but to me not having to spend money is as good as earning it. I live simply and thriftily…

Yankees have had enough of those. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
