A day without baseball is like… there’s really nothing like it. Once the season starts it could be double headers every day, they could have a 300 game season and every pitch, swing and throw would enthrall me. The only thing that would make it bad would be if all teams had domes and played all through the winter. There’s something about the game that needs to hibernate. It has to rest in cold weather and build up the hope and anticipation that spring brings. The bees come back, the flowers bloom. Short sleeves, bikinis and water gun fights are soon to arrive. They sing the National Anthem on opening day and the songbirds hear it and they arrive. The only good that comes from a day without baseball is if we spend it productively. Get some chores done. Catch up with an old friend. Just don’t let it pass by. If you don’t accomplish something, it’s a complete waste… Hate to interrupt you waxing poetic inger but there is a game today. 😆 There is nothing better than getting a good coat of wax on your poetic. It protects it from the elements and makes it stand out in a crowd…
