Uggghhh. The drama. So close. Hicks strikes out to end the game. Hicks goes into May with 0 extra base hits and 1 RBI. He did have a couple hard hit balls this weekend.  |

In fairness to Boone, there's a lot of stench on this roster. That's an understatement, really. We've essentially got 3 rookies starting or playing regularly that struggle to hit .200, Torres hitting about 40 points under where he should, DJ also hitting 40-50 points below where he should. Our best hitter out, and slumping before he got hurt. And we have Hicks. That's not even looking at the pitching. Don't know what we can do to change all that in the short run. |
