Someone else has not. I think the FO would love to see enough positives to be able to dump him off somewhere. I doubt that’s going to happen. Maybe Oakland could use his leadership skills, if he had any. I’ve never heard much about Hicks as a teammate, which probably means he just stays out of everything. No positives, no negatives…Until he gets in a game…

The bottom 4 of this lineup will strike fear in the minds of ........ NO ONE. I get injuries have removed Stanton and Judge from the lineup but even with them we are running out players who contribute nothing offensively and not much more defensively. It is hard to blame Boone for this when his options are other players hitting less than .200. Thanks Cashman.

IKF is not usually this bad, at least adds a soft but fairly consistent bat with speed, and Bauer… well the jury is out, but word is it’s 11-1 he’s not going to pop like he has in AAA. Hicks, of course is the elephant in the line up. He’s had one productive MLB season that keeps buying him time. He should be forgotten by now, but he’s still here. If this was our line up for the entire season, we might win 70 games. It’s quite a sorry slurry…

Yankees trot out embarrassingly bad lineup against Rays
...Ordinarily, the Yankees would have a fighting chance against Tampa, which has half the payroll but 10 times the talent. Regrettably, the Bombers don’t stand a chance with their below-average unit, particularly the bottom half of the order, plagued by inconsistencies and subpar talen

Great day to rest Bader.
That bottom of the lineup stinks. Even Tony Womack had a better season in 2005 than what Hicks and IKF are having.

Bader’s HR assured him of a day off today. Boone may use him to pinch hit in the 8th inning when we’re down 7-1… Womack is quickly losing his lack of stature with you… 😂
