Volpe sure strikes out a lot for a guy who I was given to believe didn't strike out a lot. Hate we couldn't do something with the runner on 2d It’s different when you start playing vs. the big kids. He looks like a guy that makes adjustments, and he had a track record for it in MiLB. I notice that he’s getting much bigger, more aggressive swings after his tenuous start… |

Volpe sure strikes out a lot for a guy who I was given to believe didn't strike out a lot. Hate we couldn't do something with the runner on 2d 37 strikeouts in 35 games. Hopefully, he'll adjust and make better contact moving forward. As a rookie, Jeter struck out 102 times in 157 games, but then he is a HOFer. |

Hicks' average falls to .132. It amazes me that Aaron Hicks has gotten as many at bats this season, as Estevan Florial has gotten in four years of meager opportunities. Florial is a better defender, has a better arm at this point, and is a much better base stealer and base runner. I just do not get the infatuation with Hicks.
