I don't understand why Wandy and especially Holmes cannot be used more than two days in a row. Sinker-ballers usually need lots of work to stay sharp, since it's downward break and location rather than velocity that is the key to the pitch.

Sometimes you need some luck. Schmidt gives up 4 ground balls but somehow gives up a run, that's the way it goes sometimes.
