What is this about a brawl today? Did I miss something? Was there a brawl yesterday? No, but someone on the Toronto team hinted that Gausman might go head-hunting to start one. Fortunately, that never happened. I think the Toronto skipper may have stepped in and cooler heads prevailed. Toronto has a few young guys that can speak out of turn at times… |

All the time. His numbers are deceptive. He gives away much more than his defensive metrics show, and his lack of game awareness both in offense and defense is maddening. He’s getting past the age where being young or lacking experience is a usable excuse… |

Only 31 hits off Bassitt now in 50 i innings pitched. He’s walked 22. How do you beat him? He’s allowed 6 HR. Probably his biggest weakness, but not too bad of a rate. Bloop him, bunt him, steal off him… throw the kitchen sink at him…
