I didn't know you spoke French. I actually took 4 years of high school French. Still can't speak it a lick. My worst subject. I crossed the border at Niagara Falls, which was still Niagara Falls. Went in one store. There was a minor buying frenzy buying jewelry at the lower exchange rate. I figured, “why buy something I wouldn’t buy on the other side just because it’s cheaper?”. Then I walked back across the bridge…

They mentioned on the Blue Jays broadcast that after a bad first start, Bassit has a .138 BAA and a .224 SLGA. He has not allowed more than four hits in any start since then. Pipps, how is Rogers Center? Hey Rizz -- it was still Sky Dome when I was there. While I was serving a sentence in Syracuse it was only a four hour drive away, so we visited fairly often. I really liked it -- it was quite novel at the time, the first retractable roof. Great sight lines and a very electric atmosphere -- the Jays were a good young team on the verge of a championship. I had previously been to games at Exhibition Stadium, which was a dump, so the contrast was dramatic. Great views into it from the CN Tower. But the best sports venue ever in Toronto was old Maple Leaf Garden. My all-time favorite hockey arena. Talk about character!

Gleyber line drive right at Belt. See? If he had game awareness he would have hit it somewhere else… 🤓

Take away the games at the Trop, and Bauers has been OK in LF.

Gleyber actually makes a fine big league play there! That’s the maddening part. He can.. then he tries to get fancy… and then he doesn’t… or the crack of the bat awakens him from his dreamworld and he doesn’t…
