The keys to this series:
Get a lead before it’s time for Cano or Bautista to come out of the bullpen. Cano has been ridiculously proficient, but somebody’s going to hit him eventually.
Something like 19.1 innings, 5 hits allowed, no walks, and 26 KS… <shudder> And he’s not even the closer…
The young Oriole hitters have cooled off a bit, but they can still be dangerous. They have virtually no bench, or I should say they seldom use it…

I’ve been an unabashed Rortvedt supporter, and I still am. We do have to consider that Higgy has been around here 3-4 years and has a good relationship of this pitching staff. As for today, Higgy’s sort of Cole’s caddy.
Let’s see what happens tomorrow…

I’ve been an unabashed Rortvedt supporter, and I still am. We do have to consider that Higgy has been around here 3-4 years and has a good relationship of this pitching staff. As for today, Higgy’s sort of Cole’s caddy. Let’s see what happens tomorrow… Higgy was Cole's caddy until Trevino made the squad. Likely, the decision may have been left up to Cole, and pitchers are habitual creatures. Known vs. unknown, and Higgy is back behind the dish. Look for Rortvedt to play tomorrow. |

The thing about Cano and Bautista is… Cano was a wild and wooly guy before this year with inflated ERA’s.
Bautista established himself last year, but he’s already 29 in his second MLB season.
Waiting for the food…
Rutschman’s BA is down in the .270 range now, but .400 OBP. Mountcastle’s average has dropped to around .240. The man known as “Nothing” is having a better season, up over .240…
This team will rob us blind if we let them. I’d love to see Rortvedt’s arm in the game at some point..,
