Huge sample size too! You mean he isn't this good? Not even in t-ball.

Someone is changing Volpe's approach. He's too aggressive and not going to the opposite field. The kid is too humble and coachable to say no. They even changed the way he steals bases.

What a disappointing series. Not hitting Gibson is pretty bad

Yankees made too many mistakes tonight. Kay and O'Neil were praising the orioles but they had 4-5 outs in multiple innings.

I've wondered about the whole hitting philosophy from the Yankee staff. They seem content with .220 averages or less and lots of strikeouts as long as they show a little power.

Well the shift rule changes have helped Rizzo a lot and he is up there in the hovering .300 range like Judge is which helps since he was only in the 230's last year. However... yea I agree the rest of the lineup it seems like they cant hit consistently enough and the Yankees seem to be ok with the never ending cycle of one of the other 7 guys getting a home run here or there while barely getting over the Mendoza line. I am not saying everyone has to hit .300, but the strikeout rate needs to be lower. They HAVE more speed this year. Use it!
