Why is Judge at DH again? Get him back to RF and use Calhoun at DH, at least Willie has shown a pulse at the plate, unlike some of these other guys.

We get the weakest bats at corner of in history when Judge DH’s. If we’re behind after 7 Boone will get to pull out his secret weapon, Jake Bauers, the unlocked demon again. Inee we pull ssy I’d like to see how bad he was before we unlocked him, but I know. I saw him play against us several times for assorted teams. He wax bad then, and he’s bad now… |

Like so many other decisions the Yankees make on the field of play, it's probably penciled in prior to the season. Willie has a hit last night, he sits. IKF finally has a hot streak, he sits. Judge looking like an MVP again, he sits. Jake Bauers cannot buy a hit, they find a way to play him everyday with at least a pinch hit for someone who has already been on base during the game. |

All Yankee games on MLB.com (through Roku) will show the pregame show for the visiting team, but not the YES pregame. I guess it’s a contractual thing… And there again is another way the Yankees want to get in my pocket. The YES ap. No thanks. Show me the game and save the hype…

Bauer’s true weakness has been revealed. He swings at horrendous pitches and doesn’t seem to see the ball well enough to distinguish breaking pitches… I think (guess) it’s more of a guess than an educated swing thought… |

Seeing Judge crush that ball to left for a single makes me think that Mantle’s rather odd absence of doubles may have been for the same reason… Plus outfielders almost standing with their backs against the OF fence when he was batting…
