I would think that he would be activated on Tuesday, especially with the injury Rizzo.

I would think that he would be activated on Tuesday, especially with the injury Rizzo. With his defense, he just has to hit league average to be valuable I guess. |

Thank you Mr. Umpire for that second strike - way low and off the plate. I guess this is what O’Neill and Kay were talking about. Pitching (and catching) are about the art of deception. You try to get hitters to swing at pitches off the plate. If the don’t swing at curve balls because they may dip below the plate or the high fastball going up the ladder they’re going to dominate. You know who else the pitchers and catchers want to deceive? The umpire. And they often do. Part of the intrigue and cat and mouse of the game… |

Great job by Matt Blake making a visit before Marinaccio faced Odor. We had all sorts of issues with Odor when he was a Yankee, but hitting fastballs for power wasn't one of them. Good pitch selection right there to end the threat.
