So here's the thing with Florial. Since he is not on the 40 if they add him they can do so by transferring Rodon the 60 day il but this also means he has no options and would have to be DFA again since he can't be sent back down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I think Cashman wants to keep Florial at AAA as depth in case of an emergency of an emergency - say if right before the playoffs we lost Bader, Calhoun, Bauers, and IKF. Then, he would add him to the 40 man and pull him up. Unless Florial hits over .400 with an OBP of .500 and a strikeout rate of below 20%, I think it will take a dire situation. It just makes no sense to me. |

We missed you last night, buddy! How was the burger at Au Cheval? Was it worth the hype? We originally had a reservation at Au Cheval for dinner today but we changed it to lunch tomorrow since my friend babysitter has to leave early today. Can’t leave my friends kids home alone since his wife is outta town! I’ll let you know how it is once I try it tomorrow! Sad I missed yesterdays game. Looked like a fun one! Is inger behaving himself? 😆 |

Might be complicated though with Stanton and Donaldson nearing returns. |

It just makes no sense to me. This is a good point. Plus Calhoun has shown improvement to probably be kept around as a bench bat when everyone is healthy. Bauers is prob first to go I'm guessing ? Picking the keys to this series, I would say it’s important for the Yankees to score against a very solid Seattle rotation. That rotation seems to be the biggest area where Seattle had an edge on the injured Yankee rotation. Neither team burns up the base paths stealing, but Seattle is only 32/12 stealing bags this year to the Yanks 40/14. The Yankees defense on the field is significantly better than Seattle’s and May give us an edge there. The Yanks hit more HR, so if we can go long it would be a big help… Nice pregame analysis, you should definitely get into broadcasting..you bring a lot to the table. But seldom, if ever, do I bring a condiment… |
