I’m going to be out of town until Wednesday night. Hope to catch the end of the Wed game but I’ll miss the next two. Hopefully we can take the series from the Mariners who are playing some good ball. Let’s go Yankees!

50 Game suspension if he gets thrown out this time. Yet, there is no standard for how much rosin is too much. David Cone did an experiment on ESPN about the effects of rosin and sweat and washing with alcohol, which is the only way to get it off. Cone said it is like trying to wash off acrylic paint with just soap and water. Cone found that while alcohol is better at removing rosin, it nevertheless led to a reaction with the remaining rosin, making it even more sticky, which is exactly what Max Scherzer had claimed when he was reprimanded. Coney said his hands were still extremely sticky hours later on the plane back to New York even after multiple hand washings. Cone's advice: Change the baseball. He recommended something similar to what is done in Japan. |

I’ve taken to bacon cheeseburgers lately. I’d say bacon is a fine condiment. Some of those little hole in the wall places like it in high. My BP is good now. No more light-headed episodes… |
