Picking the keys to this series, I would say it’s important for the Yankees to score against a very solid Seattle rotation. That rotation seems to be the biggest area where Seattle had an edge on the injured Yankee rotation. Neither team burns up the base paths stealing, but Seattle is only 32/12 stealing bags this year to the Yanks 40/14. The Yankees defense on the field is significantly better than Seattle’s and May give us an edge there. The Yanks hit more HR, so if we can go long it would be a big help… Nice pregame analysis, you should definitely get into broadcasting..you bring a lot to the table. |

The line up sucks. Why not go with Bader leading off. Bader Judge DJ Torres Bauers Calhoun IKF Higgy Cabrera something similar The Yankees have more speed on this team than they have had in years. They really need to tune this lineup to where they can take advantage of it. Something like what you just said likely works better then obviously put Volpe somewhere maybe Volpe 9th and Bader first combo ? |
