I would almost root for the DL stint to get Florial up to MLB, but I fear that instead it will extend time for some of the flotsam and jetsam we’ve had hanging around. Worst of all maybe the Franch-Man. Having Florial as an off-roster player has been problematic. I wonder how many teams that passed on him wish they had plucked him when he was available? How bout dem O’s? They could have Florial instead of Hicks… It seems like a simple fix, DFA Cordero and add Florial to the roster. |

Perhaps we fail to see the total ramifications, because it’s too obvious. Is the goal to try to sell high on Florial or to give him another chance in NY? I don’t have the answer, just the question.., |
