Missed the second game enjoy Family. Horrible baseball. Boone isn't going anyplace but they need a wake up call. Most everyone is injured or under performing and there is zero accountability from players or management. I wonder if DJ has any options left… 😂 Seriously, this is bad. Stanton’s BA had dropped below last season’s .210. Nosed Oswaldo went down, so the question is, who’s coming up? And can he make a difference? … Bader will take Oswaldo's spot on the roster. |

I think the Yankees need a serious intervention before Tuesday. The bullpen and pitching for the most part has been fine and should get better with Rodon and Nestor eventually back and Vasquez so far should get some more starts as he has been pretty good. The offense on the other hand I think they need to start making some major adjustments. They need to get back to their ways of getting on base more and stop with all the strikeouts. Rizzo was playing at MVP level just less than a couple weeks ago I feel he will come back around and Stanton prob will too but the rest of the team Donaldson, Bauers, Calhoun, Volpe, DJ, etc these guys need to be more consistent and it wouldn't be the craziest idea to bring up Peraza and just see if he can do any better than any of these guys. Florial prob isn't happening since he isn't on the 40 man, but for the first time in a while I feel like the catching position needs to be questioned. Trevino and Higgy are basically black holes right now. Do you give Rosevldt more of a chance? I just feel like the trade deadline is too far away and we have no timetable for judge and the cushion is gone this isn't working and this next 12 game stretch has 9 games against .500 or worse teams need to take advantage of that. There is no enticement to not play unless he’d be embarrassed to appear because of his stats, and the way he smiles and goofs around on the bench shows that doesn’t bother him much, if at all. At least Hicksie was a sulking mess. This idiot still thinks he’s worth every dime he’s getting paid. Why shouldn’t he when Boonie bats him cleanup?… |

To be fair, 37 HRs in there. Donaldson in the same span -- .215/.300/.386 for an OPS+ of 95. He has 165 Ks in 531 ABs. DJLM, same timeframe -- .252/.337/.381 for an OPS+ of 104. He has 136 Ks in 691 ABs. That's about $60 million in AAV on the payroll. Not a lot of bang for the buck. |

Yanks haven't given a reason or update. Rortvedt hurt again, every player Cashman brings into the organization ends up spending a great amount of time on the injured list. |

The stanton deal, although we gave up no players, was one of the worse decisions in Yankee history. We spend fortunes for a player that is mediocre when he plays.
