It's a shame we've been in a hole from the start. Volpe may have had a chance to steal three or four bases in this game. It's nice to see him getting on base again. Theres def a lot of positives from this series. No Evalodi vs Texas so hopefully can take 2 there. |

Well, the LSU Tigers were fortunate in this game against a tough, talented Wake Forest team. It's a shame someone had to lose in a game like this. Either deserved to be in the finals. It's an all SEC affair now with Matt's Florida Gators in the College World Series finals.

Well, the LSU Tigers were fortunate in this game against a tough, talented Wake Forest team. It's a shame someone had to lose in a game like this. Either deserved to be in the finals. It's an all SEC affair now with Matt's Florida Gators in the College World Series finals. First baseman won that game saving a run on a squeeze in the 7th or 8th. Great play. LSU's pitching just shut down the Deacs. They earned it. Hoping for a good series against Florida. |
