So 2 bullpen arms. Middleton seems decent and I guess Howard has potential, but how do you not at least do a Luke voit type deal where it's for someone nobody or someone else's trash and see if it works out? No offensive players at all????

I used to look forward to the trade deadline, sad what it's become for the Yankees. One positive, these moves can't end up worse than last year's disaster with the Yankees having three pitchers on this year's payroll that Cashman acquired during last year's deadline that haven't thrown one pitch in 2024. |

Also love Wandy, but Ramirez does the same thing and has been getting better so I'm kinda surprised they couldn't get anything for his expiring contract especially when they brought in 2 relievers?? So who gets taken off the team to fit both?

So who gets taken off the team to fit both? I think they feel they cam still make the playoffs with this group and I guess they still have a chance. I would traded Wandy, Bader, Gleyber and both German & Sevy if someone wanted them. |

Yea I think other teams just didn't really desire any of those players and the Gleyber price was prob high for sure. I do still agree with the amount of head to heads and Rodon + Cole + Hopefully good Nestor they could easily make up 3.5 games, but just like I'm shocked with Cashes history there wasn't some bottom of the barrell take a flyer outfielder that would excel more in Yankee stadium than other places? |

I'm afraid we're missing the playoffs this season, even with the expanded opportunities. Yankees inflate payroll on the wrong players, except for Judge and Cole. They waste a lot of nickels and dimes on dumpster dives. |
