I miss jumping on my motorcycle, weaving through traffic on the 101, parking just outside of the stadium, and walking through the parking lot to an A's game. Always a laid back atmosphere in the afternoon. The only drawback was carrying my helmet with me. Man that sounds like fun. It was a great area to live in when you're young. Now you need to be a billionaire to live a civilized life out there. My sister's partner flies to the Bay Area every other week to perform surgery (vet.), and she told me a couple days ago that it is the true center of the haves and have nots. She has clients that do not blink paying for a 30 grand procedure and others that cannot afford 200 bucks. Crime rampant. |

San Francisco has always been one of my favorite cities in the world, but it looks like it's losing the will to live. I have several friends who have lived there a long time and they say they've never seen it anywhere near this bad. It makes me ill. |
