So there’s one player I wouldn’t mind seeing take a game or two off to get right, but he’s set to play both games. Of course, the doubleheader is probably tomorrow now.

Rizzo last homered on May 20. Since then, in 29 games 212 .311 .260 .571 … 9 RBI… Ohtani has at least 15 HR's since Rizzo's last blast. |

Goldschmidt likely gets into the Hall of Fame. Yeah, .390 OBP, 144 OPS+, seven-time All Star, four Gold Gloves. I think he's in. Plus he’s looking like a guy that may extend his playing days while still playing well until he’s near forty years old. I fumigate that he can grab an extension for another 5 years or get 5 years when he becomes a FA in 2025. There certainly have been older MVPs than he was at 34 last year (Stargell), but that’s even a pretty old age for a guy getting his first… |

Sevy gets through the first unscathed, but 25 pitches to do it. He doesn't look comfortable. If he can’t get loose with a 99-degree heat index, he’ll never get loose… Not loose physically. When Sevy is confident, he lets the ball go, trusting his stuff. |
