What was the question, I missed it. 3 pitchers that had a no hitter, and led the league in saves… You got two of them. Not sure of the third. |

Cabrera is fine in right field but not left for some reason. It's time to get a real outfielder from AAA, but for some reason the Yankees hate Florial.

If you guys have Netflix, I recommend "Facing Nolan," a documentary with lots of great videos and discussions from hitters about what Nolan Ryan was like on and off the field. I watched it last night and was pleasantly surprised. Good stuff. I cannot imagine what Ryan's spin rate was, but I was reminded just how ungodly his curveball was. We all know about the disappearing fastball, but watching again, there is no way anyone today is throwing harder than Nolan Ryan at his peak. Makes Cole at 100 look like a change up.

Well Derek Lowe. I could have thought about that for rest of my life and I probably wouldn’t have got that one… Underrated pitcher, who was rock solid for the Red Sox and the Dodgers. Pitched in 17 games of relief for the Yankees in 2012 toward the end of his career. |
