Kind of surprised that Schmidt is still in the game. Whoops, spoke too soon, Boone with the hook. It would be nice if Schmidt could starting going 6 innings on a consistent basis, he just isn't there yet. He threw only 80 pitches, so Boone didn't have to take him out after a measly single. |

Well, Inger, it's 95 degrees here but feels like 102 with an AQI of 37 and humidity of 40%. Severe weather possible after 7:00 PM. Small hail possible. Thought you'd like to know. Always good to know. 85, feels like 81 here. AQI is 38, humidity 17%… nice little breeze blowing… maybe 10-12 MPH, but our UV is 8, a tiny bit high… |

I still think him not playing the field makes judge better great that he can pitch but that's only useful every 5 days and playing the field wins games more than every 5 days. One thing is that he's not just eating innings or a novelty, he's the Angels' best starter. |
