The Yankees never play Saturday home games at night unless the game is on national TV. Surprised FOX didn't want this Yankees/Cubs matchup, two of the most popular teams in the league. I had no idea. Glad it's not on FOX. I enjoy Paul and Kay. Just prefer the three man booth with Coney. That's just something I've noticed over the years. Probably something to do with the lovely neighborhood around Yankee Stadium.  The Cubs have the same policy with games at Wrigley, mainly because Saturday night games are nightmare with all the night life going on in Wrigleyville. |

Donaldson on pace for 20 home runs and 28 hits for the full season. Luis Arraez has many more than 28 hits every month. If Donaldson had options, he would be several steps behind Florial in the ladder for the 26-man roster.

If you're ever in the neighborhood, come on over. I didn't know you enjoyed housecleaning, you can go wild in my apartment.  With two dogs and the dusty environment, and Ruthie unable to do much, it’s not a matter of enjoyment. It’s more about necessity. It does feel good when it’s done though. We haven’t seen a mouse lately. I have all the tracks and evidence cleaned up thoroughly and hoping the war had been won. The good old fashioned spring trap has been the number one weapon. Last week we caught 11, 9 in the spring traps and 2 in the live traps. One of ones caught in the spring trap would have escaped if he had time to figure out he could chew his leg off. Just got his foot. I have a feeling there will be more captures, but my greatest good is that everything we’re catching has become trapped in the house with no escape route. That would mean no more can get in, but that’s probably wishful thinking. I haven’t started to move the lava rock yet, we’re at the hottest point of summer right now, so I want to wait a while. Wheelbarrow work is more fun when it’s cooler… You need an orange cat. They'll take care of any mice around your house and keep them away. |

Donaldson on pace for 20 home runs and 28 hits for the full season. Luis Arraez has many more than 28 hits every month. If Donaldson had options, he would be several steps behind Florial in the ladder for the 26-man roster. if this were a complete roster with a legit starting 3B, if he's on the roster at all he'd function only as a defensive sub/ spot starter/ DH against more fringe pitching because he crushes mistakes. Could give you 20 hrs in 200 ABs. Unfortunately he has to start against all pitching not just the A's and bottom of the rotation Cubs pitchers |

There’s a feral orange and white that has lived here longer than us. It tends to come around at 2-3:00 AM and leap at our bedroom window because we have our calico in the bedroom. Good old night time caterwauling. The worst part is that with my attempts to kick Ambien that’s about the time I’ve been getting to sleep. I throw things at the window, including water if I have any... |
