Got to be a relief to Rizzo. It has to be, because it certainly was for me! As good as he was early, he was nearly as bad the last two months. |

You forget how big Andy Pettitte is until he stands next to players. 6'5" with broad shoulders. Such a sweet natured guy. Him and Guidry are just a pair of good old southern boys. |

Perez always hits at least one home run in every series against the Yankees. He would have been a monster hitting to the opposite field in this stadium.

Guidry born in Lafayette, Louisiana, where my sister now lives, and Pettitte was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, but he was raised in East Texas. Pettitte is of Italian and Cajun descent, much like my ancestry. |
