In positive news I thought Judge was seeing the ball well and DJ has hit in 12 of his last 15 games. 18 for 54 (.333) 9 walks.

Since July 6:
16 for 54 (.296) 9 Walks 12 of 15 games with a hit.
Strikeouts way down only 8 of them when he had almost 70 before that on the season. Average up from .219 to .234 OBP up from .286 to .309 Ops from .643 to .678
Maybe move him up in the order since he seems to be turning a corner?

Who really thought it was a good idea to throw 8 changeups in a row? Seriously. It doesn't take a genius to know you have to mix in a fastball here and there or they'll just sit on the change. |

Lot are on the road too... Every walkoff loss is on the road. Oh I should read better. I thought it was just extra innings in general lol. Yea some of them it looked like they gave up by putting in who they did and wanted the game over. Tonight obv wasn't that, but in Seattle this year ugh. |

He didn’t see what happened… Woke up this morning and read the rest of the thread, but had to check if I was reading the right one since it sounded almost exactly like the one from a few days ago. All the earmarks of a typical Yankee game this season--no hitting, Kahnle throwing almost all changes ups (which means there's no change-up at all), pure Boone-acy in bullpen use and, of course, the eventual loss. Going to a family re-union today so I'll probably not follow the game. Going to enjoy the mountains (where I belong) this weekend and avoid the frustration that is Yankee baseball. You guys see if you can pull them through, but if Stanton and Rizzo and at least one other don't start hitting, it's going to be a tough series-not to mention a tough rest of the season. |

Cole is pitching like a true Ace and they can't score any runs. They did go robbed on some great late inning plays but still pitiful.
